Virtual guided tour

Four virtual guided tours through the Chaplin's World museum to enable people with disabilities, schools and enthusiasts to (re)discover the Manoir de Ban from a completely new angle.

The idea of setting up virtual tours of the Chaplin’s World museum arose in the mid of the COVID pandemic. For the partners of this projects, Grévin and Thematis, it was out of question to simply take 360° pictures and reproduce the museum without adding anything new to it.

That’s why we divided the visit in four thematical tours conceived in collaboration with Thematis. Each of these take the visitors through a few rooms of the Manoir - offering at every step a poetic and magical version of the room, enriched with information and documents.

We produced the digital rooms of the virtual tours, based on the 360° pictures taken by Dirk Weiss. We then animated those rooms and gave life to theirs characters. The first of the four tours, “Chaplin: A family life in Switzerland”, was realeased in early 2025.
