La Famille Gram

A game for children to learn the grammatical construction of sentences and an analysis tool for teachers. This project is used for research into adaptive learning.

“La Famille Gram” project is the result of a study in the field of French language about grammatical construction of sentences. Initially intended as a digital prototype of the system set up in the study, it then evolved into a complete platform designed for students to practice constructing sentences. Alongside the game is an interface for teachers allows them to create customised exercices and analyse the activities carried out by pupils in a classroom.

“La Famille Gram” is a product of a collaboration with the Haute Ecole Pédagogique de Fribourg, which managed the project and designed the games and has been then integrated into a broader framework of learning through play, which is the subject of a number of scientific studies, particularly in the field of adaptive learning.
